Care Guide
Aftercare & Curing
Ceramic coating, PPF, and window tint all need a short curing window to bond properly. Follow these steps after your install, and text us anytime if something looks off — we'd rather answer a quick question than have you guess.
Ceramic Coating
- Keep the car dry and out of rain for the first 24–48 hours if possible.
- Wait at least 7 days before the first wash so the coating fully cures.
- Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap going forward — skip automatic car washes with brushes.
- Water beading is strongest when the coating is fresh and will gradually soften over time; that's normal wear, not failure.
Paint Protection Film
- Avoid washing for at least 7 days after install to let the adhesive set.
- Skip high-pressure washers directly at panel edges for the first few weeks.
- Small trapped-moisture bubbles or a light "orange peel" texture right after install are normal and clear on their own as the film cures.
- Once cured, stick to PPF-safe soaps and waxes — avoid strong solvents or abrasive compounds.
Window Tint
- Leave windows rolled up for 3–5 days after install so the film adheres fully.
- Don't clean the inside of tinted windows for at least a few days.
- Some haze or small water pockets between the film and glass are part of normal curing and will clear within days to a couple of weeks.
- Use an ammonia-free glass cleaner on tinted windows from then on.
Interior Detailing
- Don't soak leather. Wipe with a lightly damp microfiber and dry it right away.
- Use a pH-neutral interior cleaner, and skip household chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or degreasers.
- After a fresh interior, hold off on another steam or shampoo so the fabric and carpet can fully dry and settle.
- If a stain comes back, text us a photo and we'll tell you what to do next.
Every vehicle and product combination is a little different — if we gave you specific instructions at drop-off or pickup, follow those first. This page is a general reference, not a replacement for what we tell you in person.
